• $68,121.92 - $91,910.82

  Officers reach top salary within seven years. Plus, additional longevity increases in years 12 and 20.

Minimum qualifications include:

• U.S. Citizen with a valid driver’s license
• A copy of the P.O.W.E.R. Test card completed within a year of the application deadline of June 28, 2024
• 21 years of age by July 6, 2024 and under the age of 35 at the time of final eligibility posting.  This age limitation does not apply to current or previously employed full time police officers or other exemptions as defined in Illinois Compiled Statutes 65 ILCS 5/10-2.1-6.
• High school diploma or equivalent or college degree
• Successful completion of all phases of testing process
