• Starting: $91,603.20 - $100,859.20, depending on qualifications

Position Details

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

• Legal resident of the United States
• Must be 21 years of age
• High school graduate or possess a GED
• Valid driver's license
• The applicant must have been employed as a full-time law enforcement officer in good standing in another law enforcement agency for at least two years preceding the application. The employment may be in any municipal, county, university, state, or federal law enforcement department or agency.
• An applicant must have been awarded a certificate attesting to his or her successful completion of the Basic Law Enforcement Training Course, as provided in the Illinois Police Training Act. Out of state law enforcement certifications may qualify under the ILETSB’s reciprocity process.  
• Must be physically able to perform the essential job function of the position of police officer.
