Position Details

HIRING PART-TIME FIREFIGHTER/EMT-B (Currently Enrolled in Paramedic School), PART-TIME SINGLE-ROLE PARAMEDIC & FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDICS

This position is an opportunity to work within a shift rotation on a combination full-time and part-time Fire District.

The Fire District is in DuPage County and serves the City of Oakbrook Terrace and unincorporated DuPage County.

Requirements:

• Applicants shall be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Applicants shall have a valid Illinois Driver's license.
• Must be able to work either twelve and or twenty-four hour shifts. 24/48 permanent part-time shifting is available at this time.
• Complete and pass a pre-employment physical and background check.
• If certified as a Licensed Paramedic, Good Samaritan Hospital system entry required.
• Firefighter/EMT must show proof of paramedic school enrollment at time of hire.
