What the job is:

The Records Specialist assists the Public Safety Department operations by:

• Providing general information regarding tickets and reports, department policies, procedures and regulations
• Maintaining and processing Police and Fire Records
• Acting as one of the Village's FOIA officers in the processing and fulfilling of police and fire requests
• Reviewing and redacting body worn camera footage that may be sensitive in nature
• Maintaining traffic and parking ticketing systems and preparing late notices
• Monitoring security cameras to ensure wellbeing in the prisoner holding facility and reporting to supervisors

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Less than 1 year of related experience
