MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Have been employed, whether currently or in the past, for at least two (2) years as a full-time sworn law enforcement officer, provided you are certified by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board.
• U.S. Citizen
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to obtain a valid Illinois Firearm Owners Identification Card
• Good moral character
• Successfully pass:
• Oral interview
• Background investigation
• Psychological exam
• Polygraph test
• Medical/drug screening
• No felony or certain misdemeanors convictions
