• Starting Wage: $34.13 - $40.14/hour, depending on qualifications (DOQ)

  $1,500 signing bonus applies for individuals working a minimum of 144 hours after 6 months of employment

  Paid time off in accordance with Village policy

Position Details

The Mundelein Police Department is seeking candidates for a part-time Telecommunicator.

The Telecommunicator is a civilian employee who is under the immediate Supervision of the Director of Support Services and the Telecommunications Supervisor. The Telecommunicator is the first point of contact a caller/resident has with the Joint Central Lake County ETSB and must always be courteous and professional. The Telecommunicator answers 911 emergency and non-emergency telephone lines, radio transmission, and dispatches Police/Fire personnel assuring prompt service and reliable communication with Police/Fire personnel.
