The Kendall County Sheriff Merit Commission is establishing an expedited eligibility list for:
IL CERTIFIED, LATERAL & NEW PATROL DEPUTIES
The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office currently has 6 openings, and this list will be used to send a total of three (3) recruits to the Basic Law Enforcement Academy scheduled to start on January 6, 2025, with the POWER test being held on December 10, 2024. Once these spots have been filled the eligibility list will expire on January 6, 2025.
Are you already an IL Full Time Certified Law Enforcement Officer? If so, we encourage you to apply at this time for a separate eligibility list. The process and testing dates are the exact same with the exception that no P.O.W.E.R Card is needed. Depending on years of service salary rates may differ.
**PLEASE NOTE: The information collected at the time of sign-up is all that will be required at this time. An application will NOT be provided at time of sign-up. A formal application/background will be provided upon successfully passing the interview.**
