The applicant will perform duties to include, but not limited to:
Enforce traffic and criminal laws, along with local ordinances
Supplement full-time staffing
Be available to work varied shifts, including weekends and some holidays
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications and requirements at the time of application and hire:
State of Illinois certification by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board (ILETSB) or successful completion of an out-of-state Basic Police Officer Training program which can be transferred and accepted by the ILETSB.
United States citizen, or naturalized citizen.
Individuals must be at least 21 years old.
Education - High school education or GED.
Valid Driver’s License.
Must agree to comply with all requirements of the position, including providing copies of any requested employment related materials or other documents to confirm or verify information, and have the ability to pass all examination and training requirements.
