POLICE OFFICER

The Village of Richton Park will be establishing an eligibility list for full-time police officers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or GED
• 21 to under 35 years of age as of Saturday, January 4, 2025, unless otherwise exempt by IL State Statute
• U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid permanent resident card (green card) or employment authorization card required if not a U.S. citizen
• No felony convictions
• No residency required
• Online applications will only be available through IO Solutions starting Tuesday, October 29, 2024 (see below for the online address)
• No application fee is required
• Online application and required documentation deadline is on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 4:00 PM
• Mandatory orientation and written exam on Saturday, January 4, 2025, please arrive no later than 8:30 AM (valid driver's license or state ID required to sign in)
• Candidates must provide a valid POWER test card dated on or after June 4, 2024
• Candidates must be able to pass the POWER test upon entrance into the police academy
