Police Officer (Part-Time)

The Park City Police Department is a family of professionals who are committed to the safety and security of the Park City Community. Park City offers you more than just a job; we offer an opportunity to gain experience in our small but active police department.

Park City is a progressing suburban community that is located 32 miles north of the City of Chicago, between the City of Waukegan and the Village of Gurnee in the heart of Lake County, Illinois. Park City is mostly residential but also has a medical corridor, and a good balance of retail and industry.

Minimum qualifications to include:

• At least 21 years of age
• U.S. Citizen
• Possess either a full-time or part-time certification
• Possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid drivers license and FOID card
• No felony convictions
• Must be in good physical condition 

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Pass an oral interview
• Pass a background check
