PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Stickney Board of Fire and Police Commissioners will accept applications for lateral police candidates beginning Friday, December 13, 2024.

As a condition of employment:

• All applicants must be currently certified as a full-time unrestricted law enforcement officer in good standing, as established by the officer's previous law enforcement agency and verified by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board and have two (2) years of continuous service as a full-time police officer with no longer than a 12-month gap in service.
• Village of Stickney police officers must live within forty (40) miles of the Village of Stickney. 

All completed applications must be returned to:

Stickney Police Department by 5:00 PM on Friday, January 10, 2025
