Position Details

Applicants must:

• Be high school graduates or equivalent
• Be ages 21 to 34 at the time of the application deadline, unless otherwise provided by State Statue 65 ILCS 5/10-2.1-6
• Be able to successfully pass a:
• Written test
• Physical agility test (Police Officer Wellness Evaluation Report (P.O.W.E.R.) *The P.O.W.E.R. test must be successfully completed within 12 months prior to the Oral Interview
• Oral interview *Oral Interviews will only be granted to those who qualify for, take, and pass the Written Exam
• Background investigation
• Psychological and medical examinations
• Reside within 30 miles of the Flossmoor Village Hall upon appointment
