Salary:

• Starting (January 2025):

  • $70,496 (Officers who meet qualifications with part-time status)
  • Officers with at least one year of experience start between $77,273 (Step 1) and $91,812 (Step 5); Level of pay is based on experience 

  Top Out: $101,714 (Step 6)

  Benefits:

  • Rotating 12-hour shift work schedule (0700-1900 and 1900-0700)
  • Locked rotating days off, 3-day weekends

IMMEDIATE OPENINGS!

Must have at least 12 months, uninterrupted service, in good standing, within the last 36-months in a full-time capacity, or at least 24-months of consistent service, in good standing, in a part-time capacity, with one or more recognized Illinois police agencies, and who has obtained certification through the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board.

• South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force
