Position Details

The City of Wheaton Police Department is hiring a Lateral Police Officer.

Candidates currently employed as Police Officers can apply through our Lateral/Accelerated Process.

• Policy Form Acknowledgement
• Police Officer Employment Agreement
• Police Officer Application Certification and Penalty Acknowledgement

• PTB ID Number or other qualifying certification ID type and number (if out of state)
• Photocopy of Driver's License
• Certified Transcripts for Bachelor's Degree obtained from an accredited educational institution
• Educational Waiver Form if Bachelor's Degree not obtained
• Proof of completion of highest level of education
