Position Details

The Village of Roselle, Illinois (population 22,897) has immediate openings for full-time Civilian Paramedics within the Roselle Fire Department.

The non-firefighter position of Civilian Paramedic responds to medical incidents and provides Advanced Life Support (ALS) and medical transportation services to patients. Civilian Paramedics are responsible for providing advanced Emergency Medical Services (EMS) patient care both on-scene and in route to the hospital.

Civilian Paramedic Job Description

The Roselle Fire Department is made up of full-time and part-time employees. RFD covers 10 square miles and services approximately 35,000 residents, responding to more than 3,500 calls per year that involve fire suppression, rescue, emergency medical services, and more. RFD paramedics work under guidelines established by Central DuPage Hospital Emergency Medical Services System, Region VIII.

Requirements:

• Illinois Class C – Non CDL Driver's License
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
• Illinois State Licensed Paramedic
