Starting: $25.00/hour
Expansion of the position to full time with benefits is possible based on the needs of the position and the desire of the candidate.
The Property and Evidence Custodian is a non-sworn civilian member of the Police Department under the supervision of the Detective Sergeant.
The Property and Evidence Custodian is responsible for the receipt, storage, and transfer of seized, recovered, and evidentiary physical and digital property.
The position requires a high level of discretion, the ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to new technologies, and work under minimal supervision.
The Property and Evidence Custodian will work up to 20 hours per week, with an annual maximum not to exceed 1,000 hours. Hours and work days are flexible, but are generally Monday-Friday.
The position is not eligible for benefits.
