Position Details

The Round Lake Park Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. Testing is being conducted to fill current open full-time Police Officer positions and to establish an Eligibility List for future available positions.

Shift Scheduling:

• Twelve hour shifts, three days on/three days off
• Permanent shift rotation based on bid system; upon completion of probationary period

Minimum Requirements:

• $25.00 non-refundable application processing fee

• No felony convictions
• High school diploma/GED
• Valid driver’s license
• 20 to under 35 years of age as of December 14, 2019 unless otherwise exempt by Statute
• Must have valid and current POWER test card dated no more than six (6) months prior to test date (cards valid if dated June 14, 2019 through December 14, 2019)
• Must pass all phases of hiring process including oral interview, polygraph test, psychological exam, medical exam, drug screen and background investigation

• Copy of high school diploma/GED
• Copy of driver’s license
