Entry Level Police Officer

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Valid Driver's License
• High School graduate or GED, possess an Associate Degree in the field of law enforcement, or have at least thirty (30) minimum educational credits hours from an accredited college or university.
• No felony convictions
• If hired, must be physically fit to pass the POWER test upon entering an Illinois Police Academy
• At least 20 years of age at the time of application and under 35 years of age as of date of written exam, unless otherwise exempt by Statute.
• Every applicant must be of good moral character, of temperate habits, of sound heath and must be physically able to perform the duties of the position of Police Officer.
