Police Officer Minimum Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship or legal resident of the United States
• Must be at least 20 years old and less than 35 years of age at the time of the written exam; Exemptions to the age limit only offered for full-time law enforcement experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire 
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Valid driver’s license 
• Valid P.O.W.E.R. test card dated within one year from the date of the written exam.
• Be of good moral character

Orientation and Testing Information:

Your exam will be offered electronically, and you will take the exam in your own home. sessions will be offered during business hours the week of September 8th, 2025. There will be no evening or weekend sessions made available – it is your responsibility to ensure you have the flexibility to test during these times.
