Position Details

The Plainfield Fire Protection District is proud to announce that applications are now being accepted for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic.

Minimum Qualifications Include:

• Must be at least 20 years old (21 at time of hire)
• Valid driver's license
• U.S. citizenship
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPAT certification
• Certified Paramedic at time of hire (must be enrolled in paramedic school at time of application)
• Certified OSFM Basic Operations Firefighter (BOF) / Firefighter II (FFII), or recognized equivalent
