Position Details

CERTIFIED FULL-TIME POLICE OFFICER

The Oakwood Hills Police Department is seeking experienced Illinois state certified Police Officers interested in Full or Part-Time employment.

Officer must be willing to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates selected must first meet all the following criteria:

• 21 years of age.
• High school graduate (or equivalent).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Valid Illinois Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) card.
• Must have no felony convictions and be of good moral character as described in State Statute 65 ILCS 5/10-2.1-6.
• Mentally and physically able to perform the tasks of the job.
• Able to pass a drug screening.
• Must have successfully completed an Illinois Basic Law Enforcement Training course or another program approved for a waiver by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board.
