Must have proof of High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
Good moral character.
Must not have been convicted of a felony, a crime of moral turpitude, or a misdemeanor.
Must be a certified Police Officer by the State of Illinois. (Out of state certifications will be accepted as well).
Currently employed in law enforcement and serves with no adverse employment actions/and or, not be more than one (1) year separated from a law enforcement agency in good standing.
All qualified applicants must agree to comply with all requirements of the position and have the ability to pass all examinations and training requirements, including but not limited to a thorough background investigation and interview with the Police Commission.
