Short Orientation, followed by written test

Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 5:30 PM

Oral interviews will begin on Thursday, October 30, 2025

Requirements Include:

• Be 21 at the time of appointment (no upper age limit restrictions)
• Must possess proof of successful completion of the P.O.W.E.R. Test administered within 12 months prior to Oral Interview with the Merit Commission
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Possess a valid Driver's License
• Be a citizen of the United States for at least one year
• Must possess a valid FOID card
• Pass background investigation, polygraph, and psych test
• Eyesight corrected to 20/20, be free of color blindness
• Must pass an Oral Interview with the Merit Commission
