Police Officer Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Valid driver's license
• Must be 20 years of age and not yet reached your 35th birthday as of November 13, 2025, or as otherwise exempt from the age limitation by State Statute. Must be 21 years of age at the time of hire.
• No residency required
• No felony convictions
• US Citizenship or legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of POWER test with a licensed agency within one (1) year PRIOR to written exam.

Candidates must attend the mandatory orientation and written examination on:

Plano, Illinois

Sign-in begins at 8:00 AM and closes at 9:00 AM.
