    Top Out: $89,342

    ICops contract expires 12/31/25

    • Drone pilot(s)
    • Truck Enforcement

Rockdale, Illinois

The Village of Rockdale, Illinois is accepting applications for immediate openings for Full or Part-Time Certified Police Officer Lateral Applicants with the Rockdale Police Department.

Currently 8 sworn personnel with approval to hire 2 additional full-time officers in 2025 along with several part-time openings.

All applicants must meet the following minimum requirements established by the Village Board:

  • A resident of, and legally authorized to work in the United States of America
  • Currently employed or previously employed as a full-time or part-time, sworn law enforcement officer
  • No felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions for crimes of moral turpitude
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Be a high school graduate or possess a G.E.D. equivalent
  • Complete an oral interview and extensive background investigation
  • Applications are being accepted on an on-going, rolling basis
  • Include a copy of a birth certificate, driver’s license, social security card and basic law enforcement training certification. Please also include any college degrees/certifications and a copy of your DD214 if applicable.
