Department Overview:
The Lisle Police Department consists of 41 sworn officers, including a Chief, Deputy Chief, and five Sergeants, and 8 professional staff members. The department has a state-of-the-art facility complete with a firing range, modern evidence processing lab, and training and fitness rooms. Officers enjoy working 12-hour shifts and participate in extensive levels of ongoing training. Officers have the ability to exercise while on duty and participate in job enrichment programs. The department also offers a variety of specialty positions, including Detective, Firearms Instructor, Field Training Officer, Evidence Technician, Emergency Management Specialist, SWAT Operator/Negotiator, Mobile Field Force Operator, Bike Patrol, Accident Reconstructionist, and School Resource Officer.
