Under the direction of a supervisor, the School Resource Officer performs general security work to protect persons and property and to prevent losses due to accidents and incidents. School Resource Officer can service institutional, industrial or commercial property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry
Duties may include patrol of buildings and grounds of site; watch for and report irregularities such as fire hazards; write incident reports; record data such as property damage; prohibiting unauthorized persons from entering; and warning violators of rule infractions.
This School Resource Officer position is variable and ($18/20) hourly.
Must have firearm and firearm certification
Never convicted of a felony
Must have police badge / arresting powers
No misdemeanor in past three years
Possess a valid driver license
Possess a valid gun permit
Must be current, sworn Indiana Law Enforcement position with arresting powers, the hours can change based on the needs of the business.

Stand for long period of time
Read, write and speak English
