Position Details

The Village of Lemont Police Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Part-Time Patrol Police Officer to supplement its staff of sworn Police Officers.

Description of Duties: 

• This is responsible law enforcement work in the protection of life and property through the enforcement of laws and ordinances.
• The position responds to calls for service, patrols assigned areas and enforces criminal and traffic laws and village ordinances.
• The job involves investigating crimes and vehicle crashes and assisting full-time officers from the Lemont Police Department and other agencies.
