Position Details

Entry Level Requirements:

• Citizen of the U.S. or legally authorized to work in the United States
• At least 21 and under 35 years of age
• Possess a valid driver's license
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position of a police officer
• Must participate in and successfully complete all stages of the testing process, which may include, but not limited to:
• Written and POWER test (Entry Level)
• Oral interview
• Polygraph examination
• Extensive background investigation
• Post-offer physical/drug test
• Must not have been convicted of a felony or certain misdemeanors, as defined by statute
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
