Salary:

• Starting: Up to $73,500.00, dependent on qualifications

  Benefits:

  • Working Shifts:  24 hours on duty then 48 hours off
  • Clothing and Gear: Initial Uniform Outfitting will be provided by the department.

IS HIRING ENTRY LEVEL FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC OR FIREFIGHTER/EMT-B

(If currently enrolled in a paramedic training course)

The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners for the Village of Glenwood, Illinois is accepting applications for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic.

Testing is being conducted for immediate hiring to fill several Full-Time Firefighter/Paramedic positions and to establish an Eligibility List for future hiring needs.

Glenwood Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency medical services (EMS) to the community’s 8300 resident population The Department’s current personnel staffing includes five full-time and  twenty-eight Paid-On-Call (P.O.C.) Firefighters.
