Competitive Selection Process
Starting Salary:
$69,730.52
The North Maine Fire Protection District is accepting applications for the purpose of establishing an eligibility list for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic.
Applicants must:
Be at least 21 years old at time of application and less than 35 years of age at the end of the application deadline unless otherwise provided by state or federal law.
Be Paramedic (EMT-P) licensed in the State of Illinois prior to the application deadline.
Have a valid CPAT card and ladder certificate dated no earlier than January 11, 2018.
A written test will be given on:
February 16, 2019
There will be an oral interview after the written exam with a date TBD.
Upon conditional offer of employment, the candidate must successfully complete a psychological, polygraph, background and medical evaluation.

between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Monday - Friday
beginning December 12, 2018
Candidates are required to pay a $20.00 fee when submitting their completed application.
All completed applications must be filed at the North Maine Fire Station by 4:30 p.m. on January 11, 2019.
