Position Details

The Village of Oswego Police Department is seeking qualified candidates for Records Supervisor.

The position is responsible for the daily management/supervision of Records personnel, preservation and maintenance of police records and systems; managing a Records Management System (RMS); Freedom of Information Act response and compliance; preparation of reports; and other administrative responsibilities.

Position requires:

• An associate's degree or completed 60 semester hours of college credit at an accredited college or university in the study of law enforcement administration, public administration, records management or related field with three to five years’ experience in police administrative or office management in a supervisory capacity or a combination of education and experience.
• Tyler Munis experience is preferred.
• FOIA Officer experience is preferred.
• LEADS certification must be obtained within six months of employment.
• Position requires a valid Illinois driver’s license.

• Background check
