Position Details

The Richton Fire Department is currently seeking qualified individuals for the position of Single Role Paramedics.

Candidates must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have high school diploma or GED
• Be IDPH licensed EMT-P with ability to test into South Cook County EMS System
• Have valid Illinois Driver's License
• Not have felony convictions 

Job Description:

• Candidates will be responsible for department ambulances
• Candidates will be responsible for patient care and completing all necessary patient care report forms
• Candidates will be required to become familiar with department vehicles, operations, and South Cook County EMS SMOs
• Candidates will report to the officer in charge while on duty
• Other duties as assigned
