Position Details

Minimum Requirements:

• $25.00 non-refundable application fee
• U.S. Citizenship
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Associate's degree or 60 college semesters hours preferred
• Valid driver's license
• 21 to under 35 years of age at time of appointment, unless otherwise exempt by statute
• Must possess a valid POWER test card issued by a certified testing agency and dated no more than 12 months prior to test day. Cards considered valid only if issued between 3/7/2019 – 3/7/2020
• 20/100 binocular vision corrective to 20/20
• Must demonstrate appropriate peripheral vision
• No color blindness 

Completion and submission of an online application and all required documents listed below by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2020.

• Consent and Release Agreement (2 pages) – available after purchase
• Copy of high school diploma or equivalent
• Copy of valid driver's license
• Copy of birth record as proof of citizenship or legal authorization to work in U.S.: can include: county/state-issued birth certificate, U.S. passport, naturalization papers
• Copy of valid POWER test card. Must be dated 3/7/2019 – 3/7/2020
• If applicable, copy of official college transcripts – unofficial transcripts not accepted
• If applicable, copy of military DD-214 (long form) 

Written Examination:

Saturday, March 7, 2020

Testing will be held in Warrenville, IL during the morning. The exact location will be released to eligible candidates.
