Minimum Requirements Applicants must:

• Be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation verifying employment eligibility as required by law
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or GED
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Have successfully completed the Basic Law Enforcement Training Course under the Illinois Police Training Act, or qualify through the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board (ILETSB) reciprocity process
• Be physically able to perform the essential functions of a Round Lake Beach police officer
