Position Details

REQUIREMENTS:

To be eligible for a lateral transfer, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be currently certified as a full-time Police Officer by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board (ILETSB) or an equivalent out-of-state board (subject to ILETSB reciprocity). 

• Must be a sworn officer in good standing with their current/most recent law enforcement agency.

• Must pass a comprehensive background investigation, including a psychological evaluation and medical screening
