Position Details

The City of Crest Hill Civil Service Commission is accepting applications and testing for Community Service Officer.

The Community Service Officer is a civilian position that performs public service to the community including:

• Code enforcement
• Parking enforcement
• Directing and controlling traffic and other support services to assist sworn police officers.

Applicants must be 21 years of age.

Candidates will be required to pass a written aptitude exam and oral evaluation.

Successful candidates will be placed in rank order on an eligibility list and may apply for preference points based on military status.
