• Entry Level Starting: $73,222

  Lateral: $82,270

Position Details

The Campton Hills Police Department is seeking diverse, committed, and professional officers to provide the highest level of service to residents, businesses, and visitors.

The Village of Campton Hills is a semi-rural community with a population of 11,131 located in Kane County 50 miles west of Chicago. Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Twenty-one years of age or older
• Must be a citizen of the United States or legally able to work in the United States
• Possession of a valid driver's license
• POWER Card (must be valid)
• Valid FOID Card
• Must participate in and successfully complete all stages of the testing process, which may include but are not limited to:
• Orientation and Written Test
• Oral Interview
• Extensive background investigation
• Credit Check
• After conditional offer of employment:
• Final Interview
• Medical Post offer psychological and drug test
• Must not have been convicted of a felony or certain misdemeanors, as defined by statute

Lateral applicants is an ongoing hiring process and not required to attend entry level orientation and written examination.
