Oral Interviews:

Requirements:

• Be at least 21 at time of appointment (no upper age limit restriction)
• Must pass the written test with 65% or better
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Possess a valid Driver's License
• Must possess a FOID CARD
• Must possess a valid (POWER CARD or proof of passing C.A.T. Standards) completed within one year
• Pass background investigation, polygraph, and psych test
• Be a citizen of the United States for at least one year
• Eyesight correctable to 20/20, be free of color blindness
• Be a resident of Illinois living within 75 miles of the Kane county seat, Geneva, IL 
• No felony convictions
