Position Details

Qualifications:

• Permanent, legal resident of the United States.
• Must be a certified Police Officer (Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board).
• Actively employed by law enforcement agency for at least 2 years and within the last 12 months.
• Binocular vision correctable to 20/20.
• Valid Illinois Drivers license.
• High School diploma or equivalent and 60 hours of college coursework.
• Physical Fitness Certification
• Ability to meet job related physical requirements.
• Residency within 20 miles of the DeKalb County Courthouse by end of probation.

• Starting Salary $57,541.77 (Step 2).
• Rotating 12 hour shift schedule.
