Requirements:

• 21 years of age and not older than 35 years of age at time of hire (except as provided by Illinois Statute 65 ILCS 5/10-2.1-6)
• U.S Citizen
• Valid Driver's License
• Licensed IDPH Paramedic at time of application
• Valid CPAT with Ladder Climb within 12 months of application 

***Applicants must complete the National Testing Network Fire Team Exam, PSSA and PHQ

The Franklin Park Fire Department is currently hiring Firefighter/Paramedics with 5 immediate openings.

We are seeking motivated, dedicated and service-oriented individuals to join our team. The Franklin Park Fire Department has 43 sworn full-time members including 1-Fire Chief, 3-Battalion Chiefs, 9-Lieutenants and 30-Firefighter/Paramedics. We operate out of 2 fully staffed stations and 1 reserve station. Minimum staffing is 11 per day. We responded to more than 4,000 calls for service last year including Fire, EMS, Hazardous Materials, Water Rescue and Technical Rescue.
