Lateral Police Officer

FULL-TIME CERTIFIED LATERAL POLICE OFFICER

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma (or equivalent)
• Full-time Police Officer Certification or equivalent
• At least 21 years of age at time of appointment
• Must move within prescribed boundaries 6 months after completion of probation
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Valid Illinois Driver's License
• FOID Card (at time of hire) 

Hiring Process:

• Oral Interview
• Background Investigation
• Polygraph and Psychological Examinations
• Medical Examination
