Position Details

Seeking Part-Time Officers.

Qualifications:

• Must be Illinois State Certified as a police officer or part-time police officer to be considered.
• Certification must be in good standing with the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board.
• High School diploma or higher required.
• Must be a United States Citizen.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Employment history will be an important factor in consideration.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 16 hours per week to maintain employment.
• Must be available to work shifts of 7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.
• Must have flexibility to attend court hearings if necessary.
• Must pass thorough background investigation and medical screening.
• Must be of good moral character with no felony or misdemeanor arrests.
• Must also have a clean driving history.
