Position Details

The University of Illinois Police Department looking for enthusiastic, dedicated public servants to protect our community of 60,000 students, faculty and staff and 125,000 residents.

UIPD police officers are fully sworn, and the department provides all the same services as a traditional police department – with some extra opportunities unique to a university community. The University of Illinois Police Department is recognized as one of the premier university police agencies in the country. Our officers boast a unique law enforcement experience, lots of overtime opportunities at sporting events and concerts, excellent benefits and flexible scheduling.

Employees looking to further their education receive a 100% tuition waiver at any state university. Children of employees with seven years of service receive a 50% tuition waiver at any state university.
