Position Details

The Beecher Fire Protection District is seeking qualified applicants for the position of part-time Firefighter/Paramedic.

The Beecher Fire Protection District is located in southeastern Will County bordering Kankakee County and Indiana. Our organization responds to 1,100 calls for service annually from one fire station.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicant must be at least 18 years of age
• Be a citizen of the United States
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a valid driver's license (Class B Non-CDL)
• State of Illinois licensed Paramedic
• Be certified as a Basic Operations Firefighter through the Office of the State Fire Marshal in the State of Illinois
• Successful system entry into Riverside EMS System
