Position Details

ENTRY LEVEL FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC TESTING

The Board of Fire & Police Commission of the Village of Alsip will hold entry level Firefighter/ Paramedic testing on May 30, 2020 or sooner with a mandatory orientation prior to the test. The location and time of the test shall be determined.

Applicants must:

Be a U.S. Citizen
Be at least 21 and up to 35 years of age on or before the last day that applications are due
Must have at time of hire a current CPAT card with ladder testing (within the last 12 months)
Possess a High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate
Be either an Illinois Certified Paramedic or an EMT-B currently enrolled in a paramedic program (proof required)
Be an OSFM certified Firefighter II or a Basic Operations Firefighter
