Firefighter/Paramedic

The Board of Fire & Police Commission of the Village of Alsip will hold entry level Firefighter/ Paramedic testing on May 30, 2020 or sooner with a mandatory orientation prior to the test. The location and time of the test shall be determined.

Applicants must:

• Be a U.S. Citizen
• Be at least 21 and up to 35 years of age on or before the last day that applications are due
• Must have at time of hire a current CPAT card with ladder testing (within the last 12 months)
• Possess a High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate
• Be either an Illinois Certified Paramedic or an EMT-B currently enrolled in a paramedic program (proof required)
• Be an OSFM certified Firefighter II or a Basic Operations Firefighter

An application fee of $45 is required to be paid to Stanard & Associates Inc.

Applicants with incomplete applications will not be allowed to take part in the testing process.
