• Starting: $55,452; $62,257 after one year; In addition to base wages, employees receive a monthly stipend for paramedic certification based upon years of paramedic service - $200 per month to $500 per month

FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC TESTING

Applications are now being accepted for the position of firefighter/paramedic for Lansing, IL.

Written and Oral Examinations will be conducted.

Qualifications:

• Applicants shall be certified as Illinois Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic (EMT-P) at the time of application.
• Applicants must possess a valid CPAT Test Card dated between April 13, 2018 and April 13, 2019.

Residency in the Village of Lansing is required within six months after the probationary period.
