Police Officer

Applications should be filled out correctly and completely and returned on or before September 24, 2020 by 4:30 pm.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicant shall be at least twenty-one (21) years of age and not over thirty-five (35) years of age at time of appointment
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be of sound physical and mental condition
• Must be a High School Graduate or equivalent
• Applicants must meet all other eligibility requirements as provided by the State Statute and Village of Midlothian Fire and Police Commission Rules and Regulations
• Must possess a current valid driver’s license
• Applicant must pass the physical agility test, written examination, oral interview and upon offer of employment, pass a physical examination by a licensed physician
• Mandatory appearance by the applicant at an orientation meeting, which is to be held on:
• Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 at 9:00 am
• Bremen High School, 15203 Pulaski Road, Midlothian, Illinois
• The physical agility testing will be held on:
• Saturday, October 3rd, 2020
• Immediately following the orientation
• The written test will be held on:
• Saturday, October 10th, 2020 at 9:00 am
• Council Chambers in the Village of Midlothian Town Hall, 14801 S. Pulaski Road, Midlothian, IL 60445 

There will be a non-refundable processing fee of $40.00 at the time application is dropped off. Applications will be received on a "First Come First Served" basis.
