Application packets to test for Police Officer eligibility lists are available and must be submitted to:

City Human Resources Office

by 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 30, 2020

The eligibility list will become effective December 6, 2020.

Physical Agility Testing:

Saturday, October 10, 2020

Written Test:

Saturday, October 31, 2020

Oral Interviews:

Tuesday, November 10, 2020

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Be at least 20 and not yet 35 at the time of appointment
• HS diploma/GED required
• Be physically fit and have good vision
• Be a citizen of the U.S.
• No felony convictions & pass background check
• Pass agility, written, and oral examinations
• Police Officer's must have at least 30 credit hours of course work from an accredited college by the time of appointment 

The probationary period is 18 months for Police Officers.
