Position Details

The Tolono Police Department is accepting applications for the position of full-time and part-time Police Officers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 21 years of age
• U.S. citizen
• Valid Driver’s License with safe driving record
• No Felony Convictions
• High School diploma or GED 

• Associates Degree or higher
• Military Experience; 
• Current or Honorably Discharged 
• Certified Full Time Police Officer Status in the United States

The Testing Process will include:

• Written Examination (Administered at the discretion of the Village.)
• P.O.W.E.R. Test
• Oral Interview Panel

After a Conditional Offer of Employment, applicants will be subject to:

• Thorough background check with fingerprinting
• Psychological Examination
• Medical Examination with Drug Screen
